Venice - 31 August - 1 September

Day 1 - We did a great Free Walking Tour and learnt all about the history and future of the city, went to the Da Vinci museum and saw all of his works, visited San Marko square and went to San Giorgio island and went up the tower for an amazing view of the city and islands and ended the day by heading to the Jewish district for dinner.

Day 2 - We went to the Doges palace and San Marko cathedral in the morning and then explored some of the other islands in the lagoon in the afternoon. We first went to Murano where we sneaked into a glass blowing demonstration, then went to Torcello which was the first lagoon settlement, and then finished in Burano which had beautiful colourful houses lining canals. We ended the day finding an amazing pizzeria and watching the slaves ringing the bell in San Marko square.
