Rome round 1 - Classical Rome

Explored the ruins of Ancient Rome in a free walking tour as well as visiting the Coloseum, Palatine hill and Roman Forum. We also went to St Peters square to watch the pope give a blessing and went around Castel Sant Angelo which gave us a great view of the city.

Rome round 2 - Vatican City and other things we had missed

We spent a day exploring the various aspects of Vatican City including the Vatican museums, the Sistine chapel and St Peters basilica. We also wandered the city and found many of the things we had missed such as the Pantheon, Piazza Nouvona, the Trevi fountain and the Spanish Steps.
