re: London, UKsteph I'm not sure Nadine cooking for you would be spoiling from the rumors going round!! you're lucky she didn't burn the house down! lol
re: Philadelphia, PennsylvaniaElaine Sometimes your blog posts make me immensely happy! (Re: "Not Obama change. I mean coins.") When are you back at IBM? I'm passing through London 22-27 June.
re: Greenville, South CarolinaGez Great, absolutely loved this! Keep going dude... loving the updates. Gez
re: Lake Mahinapua, New ZealandChrista Calling people 'legends'? A clear sign you've been hanging around with Antipods too long. Glad you're having a great time m'dear. x
re: Tongariro National Park, New ZealandElaine You have to remember that the sign was invented for people who walk considerably slower than those who walk to the beat of Blur's "Boys and Girls" ;)
re: Auckland, New ZealandElaine I care that you went to the war memorial! I think that is more interesting that cricket, personally, but I realise I'm not winning any points with you by telling you that...
re: Melbourne, VictoriaAmy How can you reduce Ned Kelly to this? I mean yes these are the facts of it but they take any of the romance out of a tale of an Aussie hero. Yes I hear you say he was a criminal, but then a lot of Aussie heroes are pretty non-traditional. And then I guess it is easy for you, POM, to leave out the fact that he was robbing people because the British laws were keeping he and a lot of people like him starving and rewarding a very few loyal Englishmen with all the land. It was protest that made him a hero! Plus you cannot knock the armour, it was very inventive of him and was made out of the iron they made plows out of so bloody heavy. If I knew you'd been here I would have sent you to the State Library where you can see it and then you'd appreciate him more I'm sure
re: Melbourne, VictoriaMatt Ha! In a word, yes. It's not our fault we don't have enough prisons!
re: Perth, Western AustraliaElaine Happy new year! Just one question - numerous episodes of "Wife Swap" disappoint you with your own country but Britain's fantastic record of invading countries and treating local inhabitants well doesn't? Hrm... :P
re: Perth, Western AustraliaKelly Wow Mat......who needs to read books about Hyeenas when you can read your blogs. I was totally transfixed there! You poor thing. xxxxxxxxxxxxx
re: Ko Lipe, ThailandElaine A Japanese newspaper reviewing the Expo said there were waits up to 8 hours for the Saudi exhibit so maybe waiting under an hour for the Aussie one wasn't so bad?
re: Shanghai, ChinaMatt That's good news, Renate! My parents got their postcard sometime last week as well. I sent it on 4th Oct I think, so there's a delay of about a month! Hope everyone's well.
re: Shanghai, ChinaRenate Thanks for the post card from Nepal! Making its way around the office as I am writing this and is much enjoyed by all. Not sure if it arrived earlier but I just noticed it in my mail slot this morning.
