Just a quick update as we've been on the move for the past few days.

From Ko Samui we headed for Krabi town, ended up staying 1 night in a dingy hotel and rather than heading for an island or beach, decided to move on. Then took the public bus further south to Trang, again, this is usually a jumping off point for nice beaches and islands. However, a combination of dodgy looking weather forecasts and Matt having a reaction to his malaria tablets meaning he is ultra sensitive (skin not mood!) in the sun meant no more sun-bathing. As usual I can see us returning home somewhat tanless, not that that's a huge deal.

From Trang we took a minibus filled with locals to Hat Yai, in the very south. Amazing the difference; this is evidently a much more muslim population here. Yesterday we took the overnight sleeper train to Kuala Lumpur. Will write about that soon. So, now in KL for a few days. VERY multicultural; it's like the whole of Asia in one place.

Will write a bit more soon after doing a spot of shopping!
