Alain and Loan This evening we met up with Alain and Loan again outside the mall in front of the Petronas Towers. (The Petronas Towers are the second tallest skyscrapers in the world behind 'Taipei 101' in Taiwan.) It all started in a very civilised way as we sat in a bar and ordered a bottle of wine. Done with southern Thailand - on to KL (This repeats a bit from previous entry - sorry!) After leaving Ko Samui on Wednesday (5th) we had arranged transport to Krabi. We took a boat back to the mainland then a bus to a place called Surat Thani; we arrived at around 12pm to be told we then had to wait 2 hours for the bus to Krabi. Just a quick update as we've been on the move for the past few days. From Ko Samui we headed for Krabi town, ended up staying 1 night in a dingy hotel and rather than heading for an island or beach, decided to move on.
