Day 120:

This morning we checked out and went for a walk around Melbourne. We headed to the main shopping are in search for work clothes and coats (as it is only 10 degrees - bloody freezing...oh and wet).

We managed to get some work clothes and i got a really nice coat for like £25! Yes mum i brought a coat and it keeps me warm!We both really like Melbourne it feels alot like Perth but lot bigger!We think it should be quite easy to get work.

Next we headed to the train station to catch the train to Berwick (Suburb of Melbourne) this was because we were heading to Arlenes house. Arlene is best friends with Matts cousin Sally for those that don't know and she is an absolute legend.Arlene picked us up from the train station and we grabbed some beers before heading back. Her son Leon opened up the car door for me!Bless his cotton socks he is such a little gentleman. At the house we met Arlenes partner Jay and his 2 boys Bailey and Taylor who were just as nice as Leon. We had a big catch up and they made us feel so welcome. We have our own room and everything it is heaven and they have heating which is practically unheard of in Australia.

In the evening Jay cooked a BBQ for everyone and we had a few beers and told them about our travels so far and they told us about Melbourne.

Now we aree going to have to stop doing the blog for a few months. We don't have to but i don't think you want to hear about us going to work and what we had for lunch! So we will update you when we do anything cool which should be now and then but the main plan for the next 4 months is to work our asses off so we can get some money for new zealand. Arlene has said we can stay as long as we like - but we don't want to be too rude so will most likely look for a place when we both have jobs. Arlene says we have to stay for at least 3 weeks as Jay is taking the boys back to England so won't be home for 3 weeks!

We have already sent our CV's off to several agencies on Friday so are hoping for the phone to be ringing on Monday. This may be a problem as we rarely get signal so just to let the parents know we will be letting you know Arlenes house number in case you need to calll us!

So i guess its bye for now - but we will update you when we get up to anything fun. Like the Ozzie rules match we are going to on Sunday with Arlene and Leon at the MCG!
