gday from bondi beach mates! living here for a week or so, trying to get work sorted out etc. have a few interviews next week, and so hope to have a job this time next week! weather is pretty shockingf you'll all be glad to know, rarely gets much above 20C, today its about 15-18C i suppose, but its really nice and refreshing to what ive been used to in asia! so today been doing boring stuff liek ordering my oz bank card, doing post office stuff, ringing around different job adverts, looking at different flats to live in. at the mo im staying in the baltimore hostel, right slap bang in the middle of bondi beach, my window goes straight out to sea, beautful view! so its great, 15 secs over the road and im in the sea! and pretty sharpish back out of it again though coz its so cold! ok, no brighton, but still pretty nipple hardening. staying in a 6 dorm, but just 3 staying here at the moment, myself, frenchy called xavier, and a brazilian guy called patrick, absolute legends and also obsessed with football so any spare time is spent having a kickabout... also speaking la francais alot too and helping them with their english. they need to quickly get perfect english to help to get a job. also met a couple of noweigan dudes on the beach and we meet up regulary for some volleyball. bondi beach is the surfing capital of oz, and also the muscle beach of oz! so many keeno body builders working out at the beach gym and lots of honeys jogging up and down. so joined in early this morning, did a few ups and downs on the beach, had a brief dip to show how hard i was without a wetsuit, bloody australian nonces, they dont know the meaning of cold lol!! and then hit the bars at the gym. so funny, im still working around in shorts and vest, and most aussies are in their winter coats, its practically a warm spring english day in comparison!! they complain even more about the weather than my dad, sorry pa! but its supposed to be trhe hottest ever sydney summer coming up, so looking forward to that. hopefully itll warm that sea up! surf is great tho, huge great timed waves. 'sick rips maaaan'! etc. ok, so im gona pop into the city now and look for a job there, and fingers crossed ill be working soon. hmm. may just take that sandwich board wearing career. bo
