Last night I woke up to the sound of terrified screaming, babies crying, and cattle mooing. For some reason, I thought it was part of my dream and went straight back to sleep. However, when I sat down for my morning tea, one of the staff told me that at 5am, a TIGER had come out from the nearby forest and taken a small cow from the house next door to DNC!! It was that close!! But everyone seemed to carry on as normal. The last sighting of a tiger was 2 years ago ...

Happy Halloween to everyone who celebrates it and steals candy from houses!! So today went faster than some other days, which I guess is good. So I finally found out why Parmisha isn't going to school... Apparently there's no bus for her to take at the moment, and she walks slower than everyone (because she has to use a walking frame) so Shanti doesn't let her go to school... Today was another day of trying to find things to pass the time. After the kids went to school, I went upstairs and finished my book (I had only read one chapter!!) - "the moment" which apparently is this year's "one day" which I don't think can't be compared to. This book was alright, and surprisingly contained a paragraph every now and again with umm raunchy detail. Quite detailed as well, didn't quite fit into the book I thought... But it was good anyway.
