Today was orientated around the African Market at 2. We woke up, breakfast at 9, sunbathed, chilled, went in the pool, and picked up our clothes from Becky - VERY impressed!! The sewing is exactly like Nepali sewing - white cotton thread for everything - but I am in love with my trousers!! My mum isn't impressed with her dress which, according to josh, looks like an apron. So when we get home, my mum is going to chop and change it so it actually is an apron!!
After we picked the clothes up it was time for lunch - buffet again.
After lunch it was the African market!! At 2pm we wandered round trying to find where it was, then we saw millions of people racing down with bags and bags of stuff to sell. We waited for 5 minutes to let them set up, then found them all around the main swimming pool with bracelets, carvings, kikoys, bowls, shoes and so much more!! The only annoying thing was that everyone hassled us just walking round looking, saying "looking is free" and things like that. After an hour of looking and bargaining, I bought some shoes/flipflops and a few carvings. Mummy bought a new fruit bowl and theo got some carvings. Josh bough a spear. A real spear that he could probably kill someone with. Typical josh!!
After the market we went back to the rooms to show my dad our purchases - he ran off as soon as we got there!! Then we went for pancakes, tea or cocktails, and watching traditional Masai dancing which was interesting...
We then got dressed into "evening wear" and went up to the "pizza garden" for a delicious supper of... Pizza!! :)
We stayed up in reception playing cards for a bit and using the wifi, then bed time!!
