I had the most awful night last night!! Every time I turned over I woke up because my back was so painful. We woke up at 6am though, in time for tea at 6.15, and set off just after 6.30am.
We saw an amazing sunrise, but unfortunately again not much wildlife. A few giraffes, zebra, and different types of deer/antelope here and there, and we did see a huge male ostrich, but nothing else really, and it was so cold!! I had a lot of layers on and was still cold!! :/
When we got back we had another good breakfast of sausage, bacon, egg, mango and, of course, tea.
I then had a very nice warm shower in my mum and dads room, much better than ours (only the shower, nothing else :p) and I didn't want to get out!! Josh and Seumus went fishing down in the river and we had a relaxed later morning/early afternoon reading ad playing games.
We then had more tea at around 4.30 then set off on a game drive. We sat on the roof again, with Seumus driving, but it started to rain heavily so we had to et in the car real quick and shut the hatch.
About 5 minutes from the end of the drive we saw some elephants!! There was a mother, 2 teens and a tiny baby one (we guessed around 5 months old!!). Krissie told me that sometimes the teen elephants help the mother with looking after a tiny baby, which I think is really cute!!
When we got back the BBQ was almost ready!! There was so much food there it was crazy!! - beef/steak, veggie burgers, this wierd and disgusting South African sausage called boervos (or something like that), baked potatoes, carrots, and salad. Then we had toasted marshmallows for pudding!! We played a bit of cards then headed back through the rain to the cottage, where we played a few rounds of gin rummy then straight to sleep for another early start tomorrow!!
