By this time we've passed through North Bend and Ashcroft and are nearing Kamloops. Chilled in panorama car, walked length of the train (29 cars), chilled in rear bar and did and interview with an attendant while passing through Clearwater, Blue River and Valemount. lunch (chicken ravioli), chatted with Fiona and Amber, listened to Erica and Wayne play folk music while watching the rocky mountains pass by. crossed into Alberta from BC (Time change 1hr forward) and stopped in Jasper and walked the main strip, said bye to Fiona and Amber, dinner with Alan, Ling and Alex (scallops, chocolate torte and coffee), Luco (our attendant) swaps me to the lower bunk as it has a window, chilled in skycar with an amazing sunset while passing by Hinton, Edson, By 11pm we are passing through Edmonton.
