Left Stansted yesterday after leaving Bill and Audrey's at 9.30 am, had to drop the car back at the airport. It was a great little car and very economical. The number plate was FRI GZZL so I called it frizzle. Headed off this morning to have one last look at Kenton and then set course for Saffron Walden via Cambridge. Had our usual fun at one roundabout but after a few round and rounds finally got the right exit and away on the motorways. The day was pleasant enough but noted a few clouds on distant horizon. Another day catching trains, and the agenda today is Westminster Cathedral. The sun was shining brightly, Summer is here this week. Hopped off at Westminster Station and walked over to the Cathedral. Joined the queue and 30 mins later we were inside, I did not realize how big the Cathedral really is. You get a leaflet guide along with an Acoustiguide that explains each of the 28 areas. Guess where we went today.... We went to London to see the Queen! We moved to a better hotel this morning at a place called Kenton. Dad's old stamping grounds when he was child. We were not too fussed on the shower and bed in the TudorLodge. Now in a Premier Inn. Nice high comfy bed and new pillows! Had to change lines a couple of times because we went to Regent street first to get our London pass authorized and arrived at the Tower where we had an instant entry because of the London Pass.
