OK where to start - have gone 8 hrs further north to the head of lake Timiskami, where a place called New Liskeard presides over the waters. Have been spoilt by the crew up here - the highlight of which was sailing the lake - you can sail a straight line for 10 hrs & still not get to the end. travelled over to Quebec briefly (a french province). So we have done Niagara. Fantastic. Hired ourselves a ZZ Top car and headed off down these endless highways. Arrived at Niagra to a very dark sky and parking tolls of 18 dollars soo drove for miles, parked for free and walked back in along the river. The falls were immense, more dramatic somehow for being under a dark sky. Arrived back at the car 2 miles later like drowned rats but hey ho. Next step, a room, a take away and a bottle ofwine, proved more challengin...

Wow Toronto is vast seen from the sky it goes on forever. Have been picked up by Will & Jean and brought to their very impressive abode in Stratford complete with theatre companies, lakes & swans! Their house is very arty and beautiful features wherever you look - clearly going to be spoiled! Day after tomorrow driving out to Niagara overnight to do the whole thing there - should be good.
