OK we took a turn inland and headed West a bit to take in the White Mountains National Park, staying both ends of the Kancamagus Highway - Conway & Lincoln. I am pleased to announce that Mt Chocorua 3475ft came under brief British occupation around lunchtime yesterday, Lunch was enjoyed on its sister mountain...well 'Middle Sister', excellent walk with commanding views from which to dispel all invaders. Due to the lack of enemies to take us on (we saw no-one!) we retreated briefly to our motel room to regroup before going in search of Moose, this was very exciting, marred only by the lack of a moose! This may have had something to do with the fact that there was a Harley Davidson rally on and the noise was somewhat...well you can imagine. Went for a valley walk today even finding time for some fishing (& Bethany sat still!). Will upload photos from here and Acadia as soon as we can access a computer capable of doing so...this one being steam driven. Off to Cape Ann tomorrow - still having fun.
