This greets you from the New York Public Library - a grand place. Have meandered here from Grand Central station which is clearly a must as very impressive. Brill journey till we hit JFK yuk. Woke up bright n early at 5am so Mark was promptly dispatched downstairs for coffee after which tackling the Big Apple became more possilble. Bagels and strawberries for breakfast outside Maceys but Mark wouldn't allow a small shopping excursion. Strolling up to Times Square and then into Central Park we think. 92F and a bit humid phew - can't complain. NYC is pretty impressive everything on a huge scale. Will keep you posted.
