Very little has again happened today, we went out to the eatery across the road again. Here we bumped into a group of Russians trying to make themselves understood. They had just come from Caracas or to be more specific the Embassy there. They told us that a policeman on a motorbike stopped them and asked to see their passports. Believing this was a routine check one passport was handed over and the others handed over photocopies of their passports. The policeman then asked them to empty their pockets and hand it over. When they did this he simply motored off. It cost them 800 dollars to get the paperwork in order so that they could leave the country after their 'holiday'.
I have been filling the time surfing the Internet looking for wacky things to do and Liz has been busy learning Spanish. My basic Spanish (as I am constantly doing other things) means that my Sharades skill is really good (I suppose we are just getting by).
