We were awoken to American yip yap outside our room. American yip yap can go through 3ft of concrete and our walls were no exception. The cheeky b@@@@@ were camped outside on our hamock.
A coffee later I was ready to face the day of lazing around taking in the best view for your buck location. It is often not long before someone comes and has a chat. As it happened the American guy came over for a chat. I found out that he was infact from Amsterdam. He turned out to be OK - though he still sounded American.
The intensive relaxation on the hamock was interupted by the locals making a right old din. After 20 minutes of ignoring it we thought we should have a look. Turned out to be some sort of band practice. In Guatemala this takes the form of maximo drums (noise is important). Didn't stay long before we headed for an explore and something to eat. Found ourselves in this unconvincing Irish bar complete with three very expensive Guiness cans, a few shamrocks and a uber tacky harp. Luckily they are playing some funky music.
For the evening we went to the Allegro pub yet again to get our fill of crave food. However we skipped the movie in favour of seeing what was happening at the budda bar.
