Took a shuttle bus over to the small San Pedro on Lake Atilan. A scenic route that took us through volcanic mountains on roads half covered with landslides. The view of the lake and San Pedro as we negociated the final hairpins and potholes down was simply stunning. It was a relative rush for us to get ready for 2pm for going up the local volcano. Gone are the days of Australia charging zillions, this tour cost 10 dollars and included transport (2hrs) a guide (2hrs) and security (but did not see much of that).
