It was a relative rush for us to get ready for 2pm for going up the local volcano. Gone are the days of Australia charging zillions, this tour cost 10 dollars and included transport (2hrs) a guide (2hrs) and security (but did not see much of that).
The walk took us up to the base of the rim where rocks were jetting out gasses. Here was a cleft in the rocks that you could look down into to see lava (or at least red hot rock). We stayed there until sunset before heading down. The blog picture is of the other active volcano taken as we were heading down.
