The trip was delayed a day due to the weather further south. However we couldn't stand another day next to the Americans - noisey b*****s. We decided to move back to Mara's and wait for the boat. Waiting took the form of a long swim and a long time in the hamock - it's nice to be back here.
We had our pre departure meeting to the screams of a girl that had fallen out of a tree and dislocated her knee. We hurried back to avoid enduring the big screams when they decided to take action.
We let our hair down a bit for the last evening. I wanted to find the Regae Bar to see what it was like. It was quite a cool place with swings round the bar, and lots of Bob Marley pictures. There were a few army trainees that were making the most of the one and only day off on Caye Caulker in the traditional way - drinking. Steve turned up and we had a pleasant evening around some cheap 'panty ripper' cocktails.
Apart from a near fight between the locals and the army it was a good day.
