I gave up waiting for Liz to cut my hair with some nail clippers - I was in the mood to spend some money.
It was a hot day, the usual strong breeze wasn't there and the sea was calm. Finding somewhere open was tricky, however at the second closed place, some locals came to the rescue. Where do you go for a cheap haircut? A guy led me off round the corner to a normal house but the guy wasn't there. Undetered he then led me round another corner to what looked like a garden shed but with a window. This time we were in luck.
Inside the place was pretty much a shed. The differences were a chair in the center and a makeshift shelf with some old clippers, scissors and lots of blades!
After a long wait for the torent to stop coming out of my forehead we proceeded with the haircut. Unlike normal haircuts where you remain stationary and the hairdresser moves, the lack of space forced him to stand in a corner and rotate me to the best spot. I then found out what he did with the razor blades. Normally these are used in non disposable razors that your dad used to have. Either he didn't have one of these or he just preferred to used the blades au natrel (I didn't move a muscle as he shaved the back of my neck).
We stayed for the downpour outside to stop while the owner searched for a cable channel that worked. He called it dry cable TV - only works when it is dry. When the rain calmed we headed off to reattempt making a phone call to the UK - apparently they only have dry weather Skype as this wasn't working either.
A lazy day, ending with a pub quiz and then bed.
