Left hotel at 7am, back to early mornings again - b*****!! Drove to Pergamon, an old Roman hill top city, took a elevator to the bottom of the gondola then 7min gondola ride to the fortified city, which boasts the steepest amphitheatre in the world. Mark tested the acoutics and ran to the bottom to sing a song for us, i'm suprised the rocks didn't fall down! After lunch it was a long drive to Troy (Troia) which was a bit of a let down after all we have seen, you needed a good imagination to visualise what it used to be like. Although they have a replica of the horse used in the movie Troy I hate to break it all to you but it is just a myth apparantly about them hiding in a horse, but as Mark said it made a good movie lol. After this we drove to the hotel very nice, Mark had a swim, then we watched the sun set before dinner with the crew. Such a lovely group of people, a couple from Dunedin, 2 couples from Australia, a couple from South Africa and a couple from Malaysia.
