Long day on bus, got to Cote D'Azur about 3pm. Very populous area - like Gold Coast on steriods. Got to hotel about 4pm for quick change into our number 1's for trip to Monaco. Incredible area houses perched on cliffs like suburbs of Dunedin but rocky and beautiful. Boats every where, some really big flash ones. Went to Palace in Monte Carlo and had group dinner at a nice restaurant alfresco, had champange. Back on bus for short drive to Casino car park, went to the Grand Casino. Got €50 of chips and tried roulette and a slot machine, had some luck on roulette and walked out with €50, so not to bad. Hot night - Debbie nearly spontanously combusted into a small pile of ash.
