7th - 11th February Singapore

6.5hrs coach trip from Melaka to Singapore, we manage to find a lovely backpackers named The Inn Cowd unfortunately only dorm beds left mmh thats OK for couple of nights as it happens the crowd we were with were great!!! Our first day we walked around little India stopping regularly to converse with the locals. OH Dear we just happened to find the Raffles Hotel for 1 or maybe 2 singapore slings well you have to eh!!! The hotel was in really good condition and we didnt need to wear smart stuff either...

We thought after K.L we needed some space so we took the cable car over to Sentosa Island with its pure white sandy beaches... Piped music, electric trains, and perfectly grown gardens (it reminded me of The Prisoner) for those old enough to remember him if not then take the time to find out!!!! Really hot sunny day but hey no beachie stuff did we have, so just mooched around. Mark did paddle his feet though......

We finished with a ride back over on the very modern Monorail finished a perfect day with lovely supper @ Boat Quay over looking the river...

The perfect day was then spoilt with so many BED BUG BITES I was unable to recognised spent the next 2 days indoors out of the sun feeling very miserable...... Never experienced any in the whole of last year,, Just unlucky I guess.....
