19th - 23rd OOTY 2,240 mtrs as is known locally I dont thik even the locals can pronounce this one properly. We had an overnight bus from Kodai shame because we missed the drive up. Tried to sleep but it was freezing on the bus the driver insisted on having his window open I'm sure to keep him awake..

Once we were rested we started to see the beauty of yet another hill station this one the highest of the 3 before returning to ground level for some heat..

We stayed in small hotel opposite a large lake, which called us like a cow on a rope!!! We spent our day cruising in the park, Riding swan pedlos on the lake and motorised dogs (see photo) Spent another day trekking in the mountains fishing and horse riding. I guess the highlight if there has to be one was the steam train which descended down to Coonoor just 19kms away time to grab a chai & samosa before returning to ooty. Lovely trip.

Found a local bar Man that was the pits the curtains were being eaten by not sure what the walls were covered in mould but the BEER was COLD!!!!!

We enjoyed OOTY so much we stayed for an extra 2 days
