10th Dec Cape Comorin (Kanyakumari)

The bus last night wasnt too bad only small evry seat taken. We arrive early hours of the morning 04:30. We are dropped off to a hotel not too special but it will do for few hours. Once awake we are off to find another.. Everything on the front is brand new again because of the Tsunami. (it is hard to understand the destruction this caused) There are lot off Orphans around here because of it many street kids!!!

We decided to visit this area as it is the most southerly part of india it very own Lands End!! It sits at 36 degrees of the North Latitude so very close to the equator. Here also 3 different seas meet bay of Bengal to the east. Indian Ocean South and Arabian sea West. The wind is always howling the seas are very rough and the fisherman complain of no fish!! apart from that lovely place no beach though. just enough to keep us occupied for 2/3 days.
