Well Christmas & New Year was crazy. Christmas eve was quite subdued seemed only the tourist were going to enjoy themselves. All the prices went through the roof and everywhere was packed you had to be on the beach by 09:00 to get a bed didnt like the intrusion to what was a very peaceful bay.. We enjoyed Christmas eve supper with friends AND went to midnight mass which was lovely only 6 western people in the church we think it was catholic

Christmas da was great fun!! the locals took over THEIR breach They played cricket enjoyed picnics and got very drunk good luck to them. New years eve was exactly the same fire works @ midnight ..!!!

We have made friends with a local family Manni his wife and 2 children we were invited to their home sta. We enjoyed a Kerala lunch with them and the relatives an amazing experience. These people have nothing but still managed to be very happy amd unselfish what they had they were willing to share with us,, Makes you feel very humble and honoured..

WE are ready to move on now getting itchy feet....
