We were up quite late and ended up having a lazy relaxed morning! When we finally got going we popped to the tour agent so that they could copy our passports and then went mooching again! This evening there is the Sunday walking street which is a huge market and many of the stalls were being set up already. After mooching along a few streets we found ourselves in a modern cafe for lunch. We had some interesting fruit shakes, including orange, passion fruit and carrot! Each table had games for you to play so we settled down to a few games of connect 4! I can't remember the score but I'm sure I won! Hehe!
We then continued to wander through the city towards another of the main gates where we followed the river which would have been where the original wall was. We followed it round to the gate nearest to us. We stopped to call Marks mummy before popping to mcd's for a coffee! It was then time to call my mummy so we went to find a payphone! As we were close to the guesthouse we popped back to chill before jumping in a tuk tuk to go for Marks trouser fitting. Luckily they fitted perfect and I still cant believe how quickly they made them and they look just like those you'd but in M&S!
We then mooched through the night bazaar which was setting up and then down towards the night market. We now understand why it is called a walking street as it was just heaving with people! We saw most of it but couldn't hack doing the rest as it was too busy and there wasn't anything new to be seen. We bought a few bits and bobs, including a chocolate waffle! Once we had had some grub we went back to pack our bags for our trek tomorrow! We doing 2 days 1 night through one of the national parks which includes elephant riding, bamboo rafting and staying with a hill tribe. Exciting but hoping we are fit enough!!
