After a brilliant night sleep we headed to reception to wait for the people to come with the new wheels. We were waiting a while and were expecting a proper 'rac' style van but when a couple turned up in a car and started looking at Holly we realised we were wrong! They were family of people who worked for the hire company and were on holiday and offered to come out and fix our car! How lovely of them!
Once Holly was sorted we set off on our way. We made a few stops on the way back towards the ferry through Cape Tribulation and the rainforest, mostly at beaches! One we liked particularly was cow bay! We had some lunch and crossed the river again.
We then headed up to Daintree village again as we fancied another river cruise in search of crocs, but with different scenary this time! Although the cruise was lovely and the views were much more pretty. there were no crocs around! The guy wasn't as enthusiatic as the last so it is likely that they were around, but they are so well camoflaged that it would take us forever to spot one!
We then made our way back to Port Douglas for the night as the car was due back the next morning. We then had a fairly chilled evening, mooching about the town and on the internet. Unfortunately, our trial of office has run out and there were problems on the site so we can't access our previous blogs at the mo. Tad annoying, even more so when the photos wouldn't upload either! Internet access over here costs a fortune, compared to the US where it was free!!
