We both woke up feeling under the weather so ended up in bed for most of the am! We think it’s a bit of sunstroke and jet lag mixed! We both have an awful cough which doesn’t help!
When we eventually dragged ourselves out of bed we headed to the shopping centre and mooched about in the coolness of the shops instead of the baking heat! We started to perk up after a rather yummy coffee and went to enquire about a boat trip out to the reef. We were given so many options that we chilled by the pool deciding which was best for us. We ended up spending much of the afternoon by the pool, dodging for cover when it rained! We booked our trip, we’re going to a remote island and we can go snorkeling if we wish! Exciting!!
This evening we have been planning our route for over the weekend to Cape Tribulation and beginning to look at where our first stops will be in the campervan! We have also had a gecko in our room!
