"Start spreading the news, I'm leaving today... I want to be part of it, New York, New York...."

I'm listening to this Sinatra song and try to think of a proper blog to start a new adventure. It's true, within an hour I am on my way for a new trip. I've been looking forward to it for months and months and finally I'll go to New York! That city that you see so much on tv and in movies and that you hear about in stories of others. And from now on, it will be my story too.

I'm on my way soon to a new tennis adventure, pretty curious what these two weeks will bring me. I'm not sure if I will like this grand slam, Melbourne is still my favourite so far. I've got my tickets in my bag, an extra memorycard for my camera and a backpack full of happiness and excitement. Sometimes I still feel that little girl from when I was younger, that could hardly sleep when something exciting was about to happen.

Of course I'm still that little girl, and hopefully she comes with me to New york. I'm looking forward to be strolling the streets, smelling the atmosphere and walk till I can't walk no more. I'm on my own, so I can walk as much as I want, without someone else getting tired.
Also, I have booked a bus to Newport, the city where the Tennishall of Fame is. In july they organise a grass tournament, and there's a museum that I'm dying to see. Apparently there are items from Mahut and Isner, donated after their marathon match in 2010.

So much to do, so little time. I listen a bit more to Frank Sinatra while packing my final things. Sportstuff too, I'm looking forward to spend a morning in Central Park, running it's lanes. Oh yes, I"m so ready for this adventure!
