I have a confession to make. And that is that I am actually getting nervous for take off this time. No worries though, I am still ridiculously looking forward to pack my suitcase again and leave, but I am also nervous. Somehow I regret my first week in New Zealand. Some of my favourite tennisplayers will be in Sydney that week and it doesn't feel right to me that I am relatively close, but not going there.
Ah well, I hope it's a temporay madness because they say that New Zealand is beautiful and I can't wait to check that out for myself. I'll only be on the Northern Island, but it's a nice start to get to know the country.
Today was a day full of action for the holidays to come. I got myself a small camera, a waterproof one so I can make movies and photos in and around the water. Can't wait to see the results. It came with a big manual, so there's something to read in the plane. I also got myself an international drivers licence. They say I might need it for the driving from Alice Springs to Uluru, so bring it on, I am prepared! Monday I could pick up my dollars from new Zealand and australia, and today I started packing the first things, so finally, after months of counting down, it's time to get the last things done!
Now it's Christmas day already for 2 hours. Time to get some sleep and be ready for some family appointments the next few days. And on the 27th I can continue my packing. Any advice for things that can't be missed? Don't hestitate to tell me! I'll leave you with todays picture of my new stuff. The waterproof camera, the Australian Open tickets and my international drivers licence. Hasta pronto, amigos! ;)
