Still here in Dahab, we should have left yesterday but we have been delayed by 4 days because the end of Ramadan festivities are about to begin. No great disaster though as I am loving it here!! Just recovering from a nasty bug which had me puking all over the pavement in front of a bunch of Egyptian shopkeepers too! Ah well, no doubt there will be worse embarrassment to come!

I am now in Dahab, which is on the coast of the Red Sea and this is the life!! After leaving Luxor we had another 8 hour train journey back to Cairo to sort out out Sudanese visas which went surprisingly smoothly for all of us except an American girl who had a bit more difficulty.
