Sue Hi Marie, Cape Town looks stunning! Such a shame you didn't get to meet with Alan and Andrea. I know Andrea was disappointed to be in the same city and not to have met up with you. Everyone I've met so far, including native South Africans, wax lyrical about their lives and experiences there. Definitely one on of the big hitters on my list of 50 things to do before I die! It sounds and looks fantastic. Mum mentioned that you might be planning to come back to the UK in May '05. Are you sure you'll have seen enough of the world by then? Expected you back in May 2006, or even more likely ..... settled in Oz with some strapping Aussie beef cake tamed and trained and planning the obligatory 2.4 children! Toby Doberman Thanks for your latest postcard regaring your Xmas Day trek observing the gorillas. I had a similar experience on Xmas Day. It took about one and a half hours to trek from the kitchen to the bedroom, whereupon I found a large ape like creature lying on its stomach and emitting copiuos amounts of gas!! I`ll leave it to you to work out who is being talked about! Have a great New Year - it should be a little different from going down the local boozer! Tobes.

Nottingham's finest Well you will be pleased to know it's dark, wet and cold here in 'lovely' Nottingham!! It looks like you are having a wicked time - don't even dream of even touching the water in the Nile, as apparently it's a required taste? The Ebola Virus being that required taste!! :-) I like your site - a cool 21st century way of remembering your trip, but then again I wouldn't expect anything less from a techno geek like yourself!! sharon hi Marie glad you are enjoying your travels you should have took a photo of your mozzie bite on the end of your nose so we could have all enjoyed it and not just your fellow travellers. A photo of what the farmers saw would have been a giggle, thanks for my card and cheque.
