We are actually snowmen!!! We thought it was cold before but it is now 10x worse. We have both invested in a pair of ear muffs as the temperature got down to -15 in the wind. Our ears felt like they were going to drop off. We have never been that cold before. However we braved it to have a swift walk around Central Park. We found the Friends fountain and also went to Strawberry Fields which is a memorial to John Lennon. We also became kids again in Fao Swartz (toy shop). We played on a giant piano similar to the one from 'Big'. Last night we managed to get cheap tickets to see 'Chicago' on Broadway. They were good seats and it was a brilliant show.

Today we woke up to the city covered in snow. We couldn't believe our eyes. First things first though, we needed to do some washing. So we maybe wearing the same clothes in the photos but they are now clean!! The washing machines are big and cheap out here so we managed to do it all together. We then went to Central Park to have a wander round in the snow. It was really pretty. Although it had snowed, it was not as cold as yesterday and we could enjoy our walk. Then it was back to the hostel for our free pizza. It was good. We ended up having up a whole one between us so we are pretty full and happy.

Its up early tomorrow for our next flight. Looking forward to the L.A. weather now. But before that, we have got to tackle the subway and turn stiles with our rucksacks. Update again soon. XXX
