Early start to the day today, breakfast then off to Ballarat. Sovereign Hill was the name of the mining town in Ballarat that found some of the most important gold finds in Australia. Thanks to the tin miners who came over from Cornwall the mining here lasted some 2-3 years more than it would have, due to their methods.
Then back to the hotel for Katie and I but Adam has gone off to the Aussie rules football match with Uncle Alan, Brian and Carl.
