Afternoon spent at Raffles, a bite to eat and drinks in the long bar. Adam had a Singapore sling of course, he said you just have to !!! Katie and I found it stressful putting all the monkey nut shells on the floor, it's the whole crumb issue. Now back to the hotel to wait for the transfer to the airport for our flight to Melbourne .

Last morning in Singapore, it's really hot already ! Took the MRT to Clarke Quay. It's amazing not only a spotless station and an air conditioned train but only 73 pence per journey.

After a mammoth breakfast we set off on the tour bus, great way to see all the sights then decide where to hop off pictured is the Sri Mariamman Temple just along from Buddhas tooth temple a vision in glittering gold. Relaxing by the pool for a while then off to change for canapés and cocktails before heading off to Marina bay sands for the light show .

This is the view from our suite on the 16th floor, complimentary cocktails served till seven and then it's off to dinner. Flight delayed by two hours but the upgrade has suddenly given us a new lease of life.
