Uncle Alan and Ruth took us to Phillip Island today. On the way we stopped at the Botanic Gardens, Cranbourne which is full of indigenous plants. Had a good walk around saw lots of interesting plants very different to ones at home. Then along the way we went to Cowes, did not see Aunty Nora though !! called in to an amazing Koala sanctuary and saw quite a few in the trees. Katie has some fantastic photos. Stopped at a few picturesque spots along the way then finished at the Penguin parade. It was incredible to see all the little penguins coming out of the sea then running up the beach to their little nests. They waddled all the way up the boardwalk. It was such a great thing to see.
