G'Day from Brisbane

Today has been our last day here as we leave tomorrow for Hervey Bay.We spent the day in the city and had a great time, the day seemed to fly by.

After sorting out our onward travel with Singapore Airlines we had a look around Queen Street Mall and this led us directly over the bridge to the Southbank where we spent a considerable amount of time in the museum before stopping for lunch. Once we were filled up it was off to the Botanic Gardens for a leisurely walk around and a drink at the cafe before heading back up George Street to the Transit Centre where Adam collected us and took us back to the house.

The day seemed to slip through our fingers and time went nowhere and we missed out on the river cat as we ran out of time!!!

We have a 7 hour bus journey tomorrow which should be fun but not as fun as the 36 hour trip that we have to look forward to from Townsville to Darwin in a couple of weeks
