I had to leave my beautiful cruise ship today… Wah! We were off very early in the morning, and ready to head to Paris for the last part of the adventure. First, a quick trip from Monte Carlo back to Nice to catch a plane to Paris. Whew. Once in Paris, we found our new home for the next four days: The Citadine Suites Arc de Triomphe. Better known as… PARIS! WOO! I caught my first glimpse of the Eiffel Tower on the way to the hotel and it was so surreal.

During the evening we caught a (s***ty) tour to a boat that took down the Seine river for our first look at Paris. It wasn't great because the guy that took us down to the river was pretty awful and unprofessional, and the river guide was pretty terrible - the audio was pre-recorded and didn't match up to what we were actually looking at. But if I ignored the audio and just took a few minutes to remember: holy crap, I've dreamt about being here for as long as I can remember, things were pretty damn great.

After the s***ty boat ride, we went on a s***ty mini-bus tour with one other family to check out Paris at night. The different sites were beautiful, but the tour company as a whole was ridiculous, and the tour guide was basically asking to be slapped. But I say again! I'm in Paris!!!!!!!!!!!!
