Hi all
Just to let you know I've sorted the postcards into date order and changed their names so they're actually called where we were when things happened. I think that makes sense. There's also a PS on one of them.
Everything here is cool or rather really hot, but you know what I mean. The stupid mossies have finally realised I'm really not that tasty and have slackened off a bit. Nice!
Cheers for the email Stu and I'm glad England feels the same way i do about that little Portugese p****
Not much more to report really. I'll do the Bangkok post cards tomorrow and that'll bring us right up to date.
Hopefully off to Chiang Mai tomorrow. Fingers crossed!

Hey Everybody,
it's now a quarter to four the day after my birthday and i'm just contemplating whether or not I will be able to concentrate long enough to post some more pics or if I should just give up and go back to bed.
Well had the best birthday ever!!!! Thanks everybody for the emails and messages etc. Amy, your card made me cry in my breakfast you plick. It was sooo lovely! But don't think this means I like you. Ha ha!! Got a bit confused on that by the way and thought it was one from Mum and Dad and one from Wally and Brenda, but we had already opened theirs before we left (thanks Wally and Brenda), Neil wouldn't even let me look at them incase I suddenly ripped them open. Thanks Mum and Dad short and sweet as usual, the check will come in handy.
So we kicked off my bday with a big english breakfast and card opening ceremony. Kimberly had made me a card from some bits of her journal, it was really sweet, and she got me a top and a friendship band, then we all headed off to the Koh San Rd for a bit of retail therapy. I bought a lovely party dress for 350barht (approx 5 of your English pounds) bargain!! And Neil bought me a lovely green shell pendant thing to match my new outfit. We had to rush back o the hotel to get changed and jump on the taxi ferry over to Si Phraya for out river bout dinner cruise. It was AMAZING!!!! We were greated by three Thai ladies in traditional dress who gave us flowers and did a kind of baptism thing on our hands (not quite sure what that was all about). The boat was a small cosy wooden number with beautifully laid our tables. No doubt Neil is going to write all about the meal in the postcards section so I wont bore you with it now, it was just fantastic food, fantastic service, fantastic sceanery and not forgetting the fantastic company. The whole thing was beautiful. After that we jumped into a Tuk Tuk and headed of to Pat Pong where we met up with Kimbers and Emmot in a place called Radio City. It has live bands and stuff. So we stayed there for a couple then headeds off to see what the local culture is all about in Pat Pong. Needing a rather strong drink after that we made our way back to the Radio City just in time to see the Thai Tom Johnes impersonator. LOL. This guy was amazing. He was a little less orange than the Jones meister himself but sounded exactly the same. Brillient! We had a little dance whilst singing into our air microphones then headed off to a couple of clubs that were open late. After not being able to find the last club on our list we headed back in the direction of the hotel via another bar, a balloon seller (Kimbers bought me a balloon), and a flower girl (Neil bought me a rose). In the last bar we visited a very camp Thai man ran off and bought me a bithday cake, so I had all the essential ingreadiats for a true birthday celebration! We made it back to the hotel for about 5ish. Neil and I had rather optimistically bought some Sam Song and red bull on the way home but we were only kidding ourselves that we would be able to drink it! All in all it was a fantastic birthday and I have just started arrangements for my birthday next week ha ha!!! I'm loving it!!!
Anyway, writing this has made me feel much better so i'm gunna go and upload the photos now.
Hope your all well back in Blighty (or wherever you may be). Lots of Love

Hey groovers, glad to hear you're having a wicked time but more importantly..."HAPPY BIRTHDAY TRUBS!" Hope you have (or had) a great time. Just remember not to get too drunk, fall over bang your head and expect your better half to perform competent First Aid, you'll end up in Bangkok General before you can say Dr. Doolittle!
All cool over here. Got a presentation for Senior Manager tomorrow, piece of p**s! Katie's ovulating what seems to be every 5 mins, so not getting much sleep! Tone's pc is shagged so he hasn't been able to drop you a line and Hoop's is trying to talk to you through his telly (damn recreational drugs).
Seeing that we haven't been in the position to do our normal rant about the footy, here we go but I'll keep it brief!
Ronaldo is a c**t! There you are, everyone (even the press) seems to be singing off the same doo-dah with that one! (I have sent you an email to illustrate my point, hope it amuses you!)
As you can also see Johnny has found an enormous fun element to your message board and in particular the ability to send messages from 'others', just ask Fraser and Tony!
Anyhoo, my work here is done, so love you both crap loads and speak soon!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR MANDETH, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!
I've had a good look through your photos and it seems that you've done so much already, how are you possibly going to keep going for another year or so? Come back here, do a shop at sainsburys and sit in a traffic jam on the M25. In a thunderstorm.
Anyway, loads of love to you, Neil and Kimbers.
take care!

Hey guys!
Sorry I haven't posted a message yet - have been working ever so hard at the mighty slacks! Also - took me a while to get on the website for some reason. Firstly, and most importantly...
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MANDY!!! Lots of kisses - hope ur having a fantastic day, i'm sure you'll have a great one by the sounds of what you're up to tonight.
I've just spent the last hour reading your Neil's obscure stories and looking at your piccies - it all looks and sounds so exciting, what i'd give to be on one of those big round bed things right now!
I'll just breifly fill you in on the goings on (not that it's a touch on thailand). Steve has just bought a new motorbike (joy), so will hopefully be back on the road on saturday (scary thought, but at least i won't be picking him up from the pub anymore)! I'm scrimping and saving, working every hour god sends to get some money together for vocal-tech in october. will be house hunting very soon. oh yeah, and i've booked steve's birthday pressie - a weekend in a fantastic hotel in london and going to see 'we will rock you'. Can't wait to see his face - it'll be a novelty for him, having a weekend off work!!
Anyway, i'm sure u have some important buddha watching to do, so I won't bore you any longer. Sounds like you kids are having a fantastic time! Say hi to kimberly for me. Keep getting pissed, but please stay safe!
Love u lots

Hello everybody!!!
Well I thought i'd have a go at this message board thing as all i've done so far is put the pics on.
Just quickly before I begin though...... Fraser Mitchell my grandma will be looking at this website and I, let alone her, do not appretiate your language, thank you very much. And also have you informed the lovely Racheal of your new found love of ladyboys?
Anyway, sorry about that everybody else, it's been nice to hear from you all.
As Neil said we are back in Bankok now to renew our visa's, which has worked out just peachy seen as though its my birthday tommorow.
Not got any plans for the day yet, will prob visit somewhere beautiful and then we're off for a romantic candle lit riverboat dinner cruise, then clubbing in Bangkok central!!!! Fantastico. Now thats how to spend a 25th birthday! Don't worry Mum and Dad, Wally and Brenda, I haven't opened my cards yet, but I will say thakyou in advance, they will look great on top of the telly.
We're here till Friday so we plan to make the most of it this time. Heading off to China town tonight for some dinner and drinks tonight and we're gunna head down to the floating markets as well at some point. Down worry Grandma we will be heading to Pat Pong at some point as well. As you say you have to see these things while your here, although I am finding the fact that Neil can't walk 20 yards without a tuk tuk driver trying to take him to see Ping Pong Suzie rather disconcerting!
I guess Neil is wrighting what we have been up to for the past week or so in the postcards so I wont bore you with it.
Just want to say a big hello to everybody
and I'm sure the novelty will wear off soon and i'll start missing you. Only kidding
Hala - I enquired about architectural technicians for you but the man said he wasn't sure if Howard would get along with the food here. Deep fried scorpion seems to be one of the favorite delicacies!!!! I hope Helen is setleing in well, i'm sure she is. Say hi to Mr Babey for me and Katie. xxxxxx
Bye Everyone, it is time for the second of my thrice daily showers. Man its hot!!!!
Stay in touch and to all have have not yet added a message... stop being so slack. lol
