Hello!
Neil
Phew! Mandy's birthday is now on a postcard in glorious technicolour.
We've also bought a Laos sim card so a few of you might be getting phone calls a bit more often. Not too often cos its expensive as fook.
I'll try and post about Chiang Mai tomorrow (elephant riding, bamboo rafting, trekking, over night in a mountain village, waterfalls and muay thai) but if its too nice (its started raining last night and hasn't stopped yet) then we're going to visit temples and stuff and be a bit cultural.
For now safe to say that Chiang Mai was wonderful and Laos is even better.
Take care all, love you more than Kate loves thermometers

Hi all
Finally made it to Laos after 2 days drifting down the Mekong Rover from Thailand. Stunning views, excellent company but no phones, hence no phone call Fraser. Sorry. But I'll try you in a bit and hopefully you'll be awake and Craig and Ange will still be there. If not I'll bell them during the week.
Sounds like we're in the wrong country. It's hotter there than anywhere else, but then we're getting cigarettes for 15p a pack and 660ml ice cold beers for 50p. So arse!
You can't trust anyone these days Frase especially not those two. Maybe it's karma that they smash up your kitchen if you make them listen to Wham. Or maybe they just don't want a return invite.
It's Johnny writing all the strange emails in case you couldn't guess Ange.
Congrats on your new house Rach. You know this makes you a growed up (said in my best Chucky from Rugrats voice). How's your job going? You could always move people in to pay the mortgage and meet us in Bangkok if you wanted :o)
Your house sounds sweet as bruv (what is it with new houses at the mo...maybe Fraser could get a few estate agents on www.lookupsport.com), but what house in Welch Road? Either way you should be pretty settled by the time we get back for your wedding.
That's about it for now. I'm just going to put on a postcard about Mand's birthday (I am so far behind its getting ridiculous) and then I'll try phoning you Frase...if I can find a phone that does international calls that is.
Take care all

Hi everybody,
we are now (finally) in Luang Prabang, Laos. We have spent the last two days on a boat and i'm feeling a little bit like one of those poor chickens I wont eat (there were actually some chickens on the boat aswell to keep us company....which was nice). My camera ran out of battery before we set off unfortunatly but some of the Yorkshire lasses we've hooked up with hjave taken a couple they said I could put on the website. In the mean time i'm going to add the pics of the rest of Thailand whilst Neil writes some more essays on the postcards.
I hope everyone is ok and that my Mum and Dad are still alive and haven't moved house whilst I'm gone. It is legal for parents to email their children you know, you wont get arrested and who knows you might just like it.

Mate, it's 32 in the shade over here, sweating like johnny running away from a gosport bird with a dildo!
theres a image! i went for the first interview, spent a hour and a half listening to my potental boss answer his phone twice and let some random guy in to change his jacket, i asked four questions and the t*** prattled on forever, are you supposed to constantly swear at a possible new employee, he invited me back for the second interview after telling me i could be starting at the beginning of august, thanks but no thanks ! f***ing amatuer,
the new gaff!! sweat! nice three bed in copnor, hope to move in within the next six weeks, every thing looks good survey came back within 24 hours which is mega quick, f*** all wrong with anything, lovely garden immaculate through out, we could move straight in and have to do no work at all, the only let down is parking, cant have everything, it's the same size as welch rd same layout pretty much, all high ceilings and fire places, dude can you ask Fraser what that e-mail address is i cant seem to remember!!!!!!!!!

Fraser & Rachel
Fully revived after a lucozade sport energy tablet (yes we sell those too on www.lookupsport.com), we are off to make Ange eat slightly cooked chicken from the barbie (Still not a doll). Craig obviously not eating as he had two beers and is now singing to Robbie! (and making slightly dodgy dancing movements). You can probably tell from the last post that Ange has now had half a can of cider and is therefore a bit feisty.
Fraser & Rach xx
p.s. they are clearly abusing the free broad band courtesy of www.lookupsport.com
Ange (The Old One)
a quick update
fraser is now snoring in the garden he has had 2 beers after all and is nearly 40 although he denies that fact i think the biggest problem is that rachel is much younger he tries to keep up but even after bucket loads of lucozade products he is asleep dribbling and farting. bet you wish you were here (as if) you are missing all the fun fraser is probably dreaming about robbie i could hardly believe what he wants to do to him (hope he never tells his parents) til next time xx

Hello All
Sitting here to get out of the sun as its hotter here than anywhere else in the world. Why go abroad? Slightly concerned as have a brand ner kitchen which includes a new oven and fridge freezer. Ange appears to have broken the oven and Craig has wrecked the fridge by overloading it with beer!
Cleverly arranged yesterday and today so that we could be close to the phone for when Neil called - oh well should have known better. At least it means we don't have to drive anywhere and have been drinking since midday which was about 10 minutes after breakfast.
People were beginning to flag at about 2:00pm though, blaming the heat, but after sampling some very nice orange tasting lucozade products, they are now all running aroundn the garden like young gazelles (well mostly young gazelles - afterall Ange is nearly 30). By the way she managed to avoid falling it the river yesterday although didn't stop moaning about being in the sun. Craig went for fashion above comfort and moaned about having sore feet, and Rachel had a bad knee. I try and please them but all I get is abuse - even when giving them great tasting Lucozade products which will shortly be available on www.lookupsport.com.
We are now listening to Robbie while contemplating lighting the barbie (no not a doll) and eating home made burgers and chicken covered in some sort of curry stuff. Ange no doubt will finish braking new oven while cremating a potato or two. I meanwhile will sit by the phone like I have for the last 2 days hoping that it might ring..maybe, just maybe..

Ange And Craig
hello
good to see your new photos its all looking good. we are at frasers as you already know having a really good time but too much lucozade products all orange flavoured too. have spent a lazy day in the garden, its still really hot and sunny the white glow is disapearing now craig has a very brown driving arm but thats about it!
fraser took us on a walk yesterday in the midday sun promised us it was all in the shade and that he knew the way never will believe him again am glad to say though that for the 1st time in my life i have met someone who has a lower tollerance to the sun that me (rachel) who was sunburnt by the time we had had a cup of tea in the garden yesterday. still finding the message board slightly disturbing who is it with such a boring life they keep making up messages from everyone else?
well enjoy yourselves may speak to you next time if we are in.
love

Helloooo,
All looks pretty fabulous guys - there's a slight easterly breeze here but still managing to get burnt just walking to the end of the garden and back - how's it working out there with your tans?
Craig and Ange have been behaving themselves here in sunny Harrogate - Craid managed a meal as well as drinking through the afternoon, and Ange managed a full pint of cider AND cocktails. Fraser's alcohol intake makes him think he's hilarous and witty, so all in all, a good weekend had by all. We spend most of our time mocking Fraser about lucozade. We've been trialling snack bars, gel packs, sweets... all have a distinct taste of marmalade.
I'm in the process of buying a house, so have obviously traded in my travelling dreams for a mortgage. Trying to persuade Craig and Ange to move up to Hull where its cheap. It rates pretty high on all the league tables so its a great place to live (comes top on drugs, alcohol, teenagers with children...)
Just finishing off last night's curry then we're all off yomping in t'countryside to push Ange in the river.
