We took our time getting ready in the morning and after a disappointing Hilton breakfast we headed over to the airport.
Both check in and security were a breeze and after a trip quick trip to the shops we were settled into the BA lounge. Breakfast was still being served so we made do with some fizz until it was time to be hungry again, our gate popped up at about 50 minutes to departure and after realising it was the furthest away gate possible we finished up then made the journey. After crossing the big bridge we were soon on our plane and off on our journey, we'd used some of the Avios we have to bag this flight and were sitting in Club Europe, BA's business class on European flights. Basically this means that you get a little more room, a proper meal and perhaps a couple more drinks, it was pleasant enough once they got their finger out!
On arrival in Tenerife we got a taxi straight away and soon enough were checking into our hotel, which was called Gran Tacande. We were shown to our room, which was very nice, where we quickly un packed before heading out for a wander around. It was really cloudy but still warm, a nice temperature for a walk along the front. We stopped for a couple of beers as we made our way to Puerto Colon and San Eugenio area. As we returned to Costa Adeje we stopped in a restaurant that Mandy remembered served amazing garlic chicken. It was as good as remembered and very good value. Called it a night after our chicken!
