The day was started with a nice buffet breakfast then we made our way to the usual sunny spot that we had taken a liking to near the heated pool. This is when the alarm bells started to ring, there was a man blowing up what looked like a bouncy castle! We thought about moving but decided to wait it out, and it turned out to be a massive water inflatable for the kids to play on! Unfortunately for us, they decided to put this in the heated pool as opposed to the kids pool or the main pool, so we spent our trips to the pool in the main pool which isn't heated but turns out, once you are in, its not that bad.
For lunch we took a walk along the coast heading west to a small village called La Caleta. It was a lovely walk where we crossed beaches that are more Canarian typical instead of the man made ones near our hotel. These were full of volcanic rocks and black sand but were very busy with locals non the less. We stopped in a tapas restaurant facing the sea where we enjoyed various tapas and a ice cold beer before heading back to the hotel for some more relaxing.
We took a taxi to Adeje which is about 10 minutes away to have dinner in this street cafe that only does Garlic chicken, home made chips and salad, which made the ordering easy! It was good, despite the screaming children at the next table doing their best to spoil everyone's dinner. We returned to the hotel and had a few glasses of vino on the balcony.
