We started our holiday in the usual manner, a trip to the BA lounge in Aberdeen. Andrew started to party by requesting some fizz but after the first glass we were told it was finished (I think they may have heard about us!). Never the less we made do with white wine and some sannies. Just as we were about to leave to board our flight, the kind lounge assistant managed to source another glass of fizz each for us, so we duly downed it before heading to our plane.

The flight was uneventful but as we were waiting for our bags we spotted a comedian Paul Foot so Mandy got her photo taken with him- love a bit of celeb spotting.

We had pre-booked a taxi to take us to Gatwick so the journey was simple When we arrived at the hotel, we were staving so we grabbed a quick sandwich before calling it a night.
