An early rise was needed on Sunday for a 6am taxi to Adelaide airport to catch our ride back to Hong Kong, after arrival we were quickly checked in and making our breakfast in the Qantas lounge, toasties! Our activities for Friday and Saturday in Adelaide centred around wine, well the area is well known for it and who doesn't like wine!On Friday we had opted for a full day Barossa valley wine tour, our bus picked us up at about 9am and after a couple of other pick-ups the twenty of us were on our way to the first of the wineries. Our flight to Adelaide was fairly non eventful, apart from being sat around the Adelaide football team who had just beaten Perth the night before. We arrived in Adelaide to be greeted at the hotel with an upgrade and the great news that the lounge was still open for another 2 hours, so naturally we headed up to see what was on offer. Our time with Trevor and Sarah in Mindarie, just north of Perth, was really all about making the most of the pool, sun and time with our friends, so that's what we did. The weather did what was expected of it and we enjoyed as much relaxing time as possible with a BBQ for New Year thrown in. All in all it was exactly what we wanted.

We headed down to Margaret River, which is about 3 hours south of Perth for a couple of days with Trevor and Sarah. This area is renowned for its Vineyards and wine, so we did the logical thing and took part in some wine tasting and lunch in a lovely vineyard called Voyager. We had a really chilled couple of days before heading back to Mindarie to relax some more at the pool.
