Using Andrews air miles we were lucky enough to carry on our super exuberant premium class journey. Today we got to sample the Qatar airways first class lounge in Doha. The lounge is more of a massive space, a bit like an art gallery, quite minimalistic but with an abundance of class. We had used Andrews air miles points to get us to Doha on our way to visit Jen and Neil in Dubai so we felt the need to stop over and discover more of Qatar. We are only here for 2 and a half days this time and found it really hard to leave the hotel due to my love of the sun and the pool. Although we did make a bus tour which was very informative and fun although a wee bit elongated due to the traffic.

Our flight was at 1500 so we made our way to the Qatar business class lounge at t4 for noon to make the most of the service. We started with a full service lunch with champagne then moved on to cakes and cocktails before heading to the gate for boarding where we were met with more champagne. Our trip started with a trip to the BA lounge in Aberdeen, a quick flight to Heathrow then an overnight stay at Marriott near the airport where Andrew got us upgraded to an executive room that included a 4 hour free wine and beer lounge visit-which we certainly made the most of.

It was time to start the journey home so we headed across to the airport and checked in before heading to the virgin lounge. We grabbed some dinner and drinks, wrote up the blog and soon enough it was time to board.
