Day 38 - Brisbane

After a bit of a lie in (shattered from the whole Ekka thing) we awoke with nothing planned for the day except taking it easy and doing a bit of research for Coolangatta (our next location on the gold coast/surfers paradise)

We strolled around the mall a bit and decided to pop up to the cinema to see what they were showing. We'd already seen most of the films except Knight n Day (Tom cruise and Cameron Diaz) it looked ok from the trailer and i quite enjoyed it, bit of mindless violence and a few funny bits from Mr Cruise, worth a watch but dunno if i'd pay for the dvd.

After the film we strolled round the food court and got Rhona a Korma however it wasn't like our Kormas back home was a bit spicier so the bottle of coke i just bought vanished quite quickly!

After tea the night was just spent packing ready for our trip down to Coolangatta tomorrow, it's on the Gold Coast next to Surfers paradise it's about an hour n half on the train then 30 mins on bus but we figured we may as well spend a couple of days in the sun on the beach chilling out again before we head down to cold rainy Melbourne!
