Day 21 - San Francisco

Another lie in (I could get used to this) we grab some brekkie and head back to the hotel to get picked up for the Winchester Mystery House trip.

We wait in the hotel lobby for quite some time and no tour bus shows up! The numbers for the tour company either dont connect or ring out and they're not too quick at responding to emails! Not impressed Si sends them a sternly worded email. (FYI dont use Viator for any trips when you are abroad)

Not to let it ruin the day we go for a walk up to Pier 39 which is much like Santa Monica Pier with plenty of restaurants and tat shops etc. My smile instantly comes back when I see that they have wild sealions that sit on floating wood around the pier and there's loads of them! Big ones and little ones all making that lovely noise

After a while Si drags me away from the sealions and we continue to walk around the pier. We tried to get a good view of the Golden Gate Bridge but the fog was covering most of it but did get some good pics of Alcatraz.

We tired our feet out and headed for tea and then back to the hotel for vodka and snacks.
