Day 19 - Las Vegas/San Francisco

We're rudely awoke by the alarm at daft o'clock in the morning and make our way to the airport for our flight to San Francisco.

Check-in doesn't take long and before we know it we're sat on the plane ready for take off. The flight takes around 1hr 30mins, we actually land early but due to a plane breaking down at the gate we're supposed to be pulling up to we have to wait on the plane for a while but its not so bad.

We collect our bags and get the BART(tram/train) to Downtown San Francisco and make our way to our hotel. Our room isn't ready so we dump our bags and go for a wander around the city.

San Francisco is nice we seem to be staying in the middle of China Town and the Business District but in walking distance of all the sights.

We grab some dinner and a coffee and decide to head back to the hotel to change into something warmer as its 30 degrees colder in San Francisco than it was in Vegas and boy can we feel it!

After we've wrapped up warm we do a bit of research and see that there is a cheesecake factory not too far from where we're staying so head out for some of my favourite dessert! We arrive and there's even a queue to get into the lift for the floor that the cheesecake factory is on. We venture up and are told that there is a 45 minute wait! For cheesecake! We decided to give it a miss for tonight (we will be back though) and went to a nice italian around the corner instead.

With our bellies full and still feeling the cold a bit we decide to call it a night ready for our first full day in San Francisco tomorrow
